MUNICH (Germany) – Coaches from throughout the continent will converge on Germany during the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 to participate in an international coaching clinic in Berlin featuring high level playcallers and other leading figures in the game.
The clinic, which is being organized by FIBA Europe and the German Basketball Federation (DBB), will take place in the German capital on September 10 and 11, with packages including tickets to watch the EuroBasket Round of 16 games on both days.
The coaches speaking will be Chris Fleming, former German national team coach and current assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls; recent Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos; and Derthona Basket head coach Marco Ramondino, who will present their basketball philosophy.
There will also be panel discussions on the second day, including Golden State Warriors scout Yarone Arbel talking about payer profiling, while Marko Stojanovic, Eugen Bantschikow and Fabian Ottawa will address strength and conditioning.
Former German national team player and TV expert Jan Jagla will moderate the discussion roundtables, and attending coaches can post questions through an app.
