Iffe Lundberg, Virtus Bologna’s last shot man, tells La Gazzetta dello Sport.
ON THE POST-SCARIOLO PERIOD
“When I left the team I continued to work and believe in myself because I know what I can give on the court. Then I found a coach and teammates who believe in my qualities. Now I am happy to be in this Virtus. We are a good group, humble and ambitious at the same time. I just needed an opportunity to get back into the game. When I was given it, I took advantage of it well’.
ON HIS MOMENT
“Nothing special, I’ve always played like this. And I don’t have to prove anything to anyone. The Lundberg zone? It’s at that moment of the match that I feel all the positive rhythm of the game enter me. And when I’m hot I’m not afraid to take responsibility in attack.
ON BASKET CITY
“It’s the best place for someone in my line of work. Here there is passion, competence, warmth. The energy that the Virtus fans instil is extraordinary. We want to win a lot for them’.
