Houston Rockets reportedly open to Russell Westbrook trade ‘if the conditions are right’

Wall and Westbrook have a Player Option worth over $ 47 million for next season

Marc Stein talks about the possibility of a Russell Westbrook trade, a few months after his arrival in Los Angeles.

According to the reporter, the Houston Rockets would be open to a trade between Westbrook and John Wall ‘if the Lakers incentivized the deal with sufficient draft compensation’ (the 2027 first round pick  or multiple second round picks).

Wall and Westbrook have a Player Option worth over $ 47 million for next season.

Westbrook is averaging 18.5 points, 8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game.

The UCLA prouct hasn’t scored 20 or more points in 10 consecutive games, the first time since 2009.
