A video that is likely to stir controversy comes from Israel. At the end of the final that crowned Real Madrid as EuroLeague champion in Kaunas, Mario Hezonja approaches Guerschon Yabusele.
The Frenchman was unable to play the final part of the EuroLeague season, disqualified after the brawl in game-2 playoff between Real Madrid and Partizan.
After that game, and the massive brawl that led to a 0-2 in the series, Real Madrid won five games in a row, reaching the final against Olympiacos and clinching the trophy.
And this is where the video released by Sport5 in Israel comes into play. In Kaunas, amid the celebrations, Mario Hezonja approaches Guerschon Yabusele and dedicates the victory to him: “You changed the f–king season for us”.
