Okafor was the third overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft

The Atlanta Hawks have announced the release of Jahlil Okafor.

Last season, the third overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft averaged 5.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 27 games with the Detroit Pistons.

The Hawks roster now has 19 players.
