Hawks Sign RayJ Dennis to Two-Way Deal, Waive Eli Ndiaye

The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard RayJ Dennis to a two-way contract, filling the open roster spot created by the team’s decision to waive Eli John Ndiaye from his two-way deal.

Dennis, a 6-foot-2 guard, has already spent time this season on two-way contracts with the Indiana Pacers and the LA Clippers. Across those stints, he has appeared in 14 NBA games, averaging 4.6 points per contest.

To make room for Dennis, Atlanta requested waivers on two-way forward Eli Ndiaye. The 6-foot-8 forward appeared primarily in the G League with the College Park Skyhawks, where he played in nine games (seven starts). Ndiaye averaged 8.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals in 26.2 minutes per game.

Ndiaye originally signed a two-way contract with the Hawks on July 3, 2025. The move allows Atlanta to reshuffle its two-way depth while continuing to evaluate young guard talent at both the NBA and G League levels.
