De’Andre Hunter of the Atlanta Hawks will undergo a lateral meniscus arthroscopic debridement procedure on Monday. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Kyle Hammond, the Hawks’ team orthopaedist. An update on his recovery plan will be provided in approximately two weeks.

Per ESPN, The forward has missed the Hawks’ past four games since undergoing a nonsurgical procedure on Jan. 30.

Prior to being sidelined, Hunter was second on the team in scoring with 17.2 points per game while also averaging 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

Hunter, 23, was selected out of Virginia with the fourth overall pick in the 2019 draft.
