Dimitris Itoudis’ team capped a perfect week by winning two EuroLeague games during the double week before following that up with a Winner League Cup victory.

Five days, three games and three wins for Hapoel Tel Aviv. Dimitris Itoudis’ team capped a perfect week by overcoming three opponents in three different competitions.

The run began on September 29 in Belgrade, where Hapoel beat Red Star 81-80 in the opening game of the EuroLeague double week. Two days later, on October 1, another statement win followed, this time at home: a 102-98 victory over Real Madrid.

The week then concluded last night with a Winner League Cup game. Hapoel Tel Aviv also defeated Nes Ziona, winning 79-76 to complete a three-game winning streak.

The perfect run allowed Itoudis’ team to close out a particularly demanding week in the best possible way, with back-to-back EuroLeague victories over Red Star and Real Madrid followed by a cup win.
