Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv is pleased to announce the signing of guard Frederic Bourdillon on a one-year contract, through the end of the 2026/27 season.
Bourdillon (35, 1.93m) joins Hapoel after beginning the 2025/26 season with Maccabi Ramat Gan before moving to Bnei Herzliya. Across both teams, he made 15 appearances, averaging 5.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, while shooting 44.0% from two-point range and 90.3% from the free-throw line.
Bourdillon began his professional career in France, where he played for Antibes in two separate stints, as well as Chalon, Étoile Charleville and Rueil. He then began his journey in Israel, where over the years he played for Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Eilat, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Holon, Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan and Bnei Herzliya. He now joins Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Throughout his career, Bourdillon has won two Israeli league championships, the French Cup and the Balkan League title.
