Vasilije Micic is officially a Hapoel Tel Aviv player. The Israeli club announced the deal with a video entitled “no more rumours”.
According to various media, the deal is for $18 million for three seasons, making the two-time EuroLeague Final Four mvp the highest paid player in Europe.
According to Israeli media, the deal closed at 5am this morning, and Micic would also receive shares in the club. The talks with Ofer Yanai, the club’s owner, as well as minority shareholder Gili Raanan, were decisive.
