Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club is pleased to announce the signing of guard Max Heidegger on a one year contract through the end of the 2026/27 season.
Heidegger (29, 1.91m) joins Hapoel Tel Aviv after finishing last season with Spanish side Burgos, where he averaged 12.4 points over nine appearances, shooting 62.5% from two-point range and 41.8% from three-point range. Prior to that, he made 17 appearances for Bnei Herzliya, averaging 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 25.2 minutes per game, while shooting 67.2% from two-point range and 39.3% from beyond the arc.
Max Heidegger began his career in Israel when he signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, before being loaned to Bnei Herzliya and later to German side EWE Baskets Oldenburg. He then played for Merkezefendi in Turkey and Baskonia in Spain, before moving to the United States and playing for the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League. He later returned to Europe and played for Reyer Venezia in Italy, before coming back to Israel in the summer of 2025 to sign with Bnei Herzliya.
