According to Noa Poplinger of Sport 5, Hapoel Tel Aviv is close to reaching a deal with Levi Randolph. The player, currently with Zenit St. Petersburg, will join the Israeli side as soon as the two clubs finalize an agreement, which appears to be imminent. The 1992-born American guard is set to sign a $500,000 contract that will keep him with Hapoel through the end of the 2025-26 season.
This move would mark Randolph’s return to the city where he was a key figure just a year ago, albeit on the opposite side of the rivalry. Last season, he played for arch-rivals Maccabi Tel Aviv, finishing his EuroLeague campaign with averages of 13.2 points and 3.7 rebounds in 29 appearances.
The 33-year-old arrives after a stellar start to the season in the VTB League with Zenit, where he averaged 14.8 points while shooting an impressive 50.7% from beyond the arc. With his veteran experience and elite shooting, Hapoel aims to bolster its roster for the second half of the European season.
