Antonio Blakeney is staying with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv. The Israeli club announced a contract extension for the American guard through the end of the 2028-29 season.
Blakeney joined Hapoel in October 2024 and was part of the club’s EuroCup title, its EuroLeague debut season and its run to the playoffs of Europe’s top competition. Last season, he played 41 EuroLeague games, averaging 13.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist while shooting 53.8% from two and 40.0% from three.
“I am very excited to sign and continue here,” Blakeney said. Sporting director George Hinas called him “one of the best shooters in EuroLeague,” while head coach Dimitris Itoudis highlighted his work ethic and his role in the team’s growth.
