Hapoel ‘Bank Yahav’ Jerusalem has announced the signing of point guard Jared Harper (26, 1.78m) on a two-year contract. Harper, formerly of Auburn, who was not selected in the 2019 NBA Draft, played 16 games with Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and New Orleans Pelicans. With the Pelicans, in the 2021-22 season, he averaged 7.4 points and nearly 3 assists in 5 games.
In the G-League, Harper showed great dominance by averaging 21 points and 6.4 assists in 68 games, earning him a spot in the league’s top quintet in 2021. For the past two years, he has played in the Euroleague with Valencia, averaging 9.3 points and 3 assists in 53 games, demonstrating his skills at the European competitive level.
