Hapoel Holon sign Sam Iorio to complete roster

The Israeli-American forward joins Holon after spending three seasons with Hapoel Beer Sheva/Dimona

Hapoel Holon have announced the signing of Sam Iorio, a 28-year-old, 2.01-meter forward. The move completes the club’s roster for the upcoming season.

Iorio joins from Hapoel Beer Sheva/Dimona, where he played for three seasons. He averaged 5.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game last season.

Head coach Predrag Krunic praised Iorio’s three-point shooting and willingness to play physically at both ends. Sporting director Daniel Ravitz added in the Hapoel Holon statement that the forward is ready to take the next significant step in his career.
