Former guard Xavier to remain in China for the upcoming CBA season
The Guangdong Southern Tigers have announced that Edmond Sumner will return for the upcoming CBA season.
It will be the guard’s third consecutive year playing in China.
After averaging more than 35 points, 6 assists and 2 steals per game with the Sichuan Blue Whales in the 2024-25 season, last year Sumner produced 21.7 points, 4 assists and 1.2 steals per game for the Southern Tigers.
