The Memphis Grizzlies are signing Jaren Jackson Jr. to a five-year, $240 million extension. The All-Star will stay in Memphis through 2030

Jaren Jackson Jr. has agreed to a five-year, $240 million extension with the Memphis Grizzlies, per ESPN. The deal includes a player option in the final season, keeping Jackson as a franchise cornerstone in Memphis.

The 25-year-old averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks over 74 games last season, becoming the only NBA player with 1,500 points and 100 blocks. Jackson also recorded 100+ threes for a fourth straight season, setting an NBA record.

The extension will be executed during the upcoming transaction window, after Memphis cleared cap space by trading Desmond Bane. Jackson and Ja Morant are now under contract with the Grizzlies through at least the 2027-28 season.
