The Golden State Warriors are expecting Stephen Curry to return Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after dealing with a left thigh contusion.
Curry skipped the team’s recent three-game road trip, staying in San Francisco for rest and treatment with the goal of being cleared for Wednesday’s practice.
Once cleared, he took part in all contact portions of the workout and played in a six-minute scrimmage without any issues.
Kerr said he expects Curry to practice again Thursday before giving the final green light for his return after five missed games.
