Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are expected to sit down to discuss a contract extension starting Saturday, August 29, when the player becomes eligible for a new deal.
According to ESPN, Curry could sign a two-year, $136.7 million agreement that would keep him with the Warriors through the season in which he turns 40. His current contract, worth $62.6 million, expires at the end of next season.
Golden State has already expressed confidence in its ability to reach an agreement with its star, with general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. saying he is convinced Curry will remain with the team.
