The Golden State Warriors announced Stephen Curry will be sidelined for 10 more days due to a persistent right knee issue. That timeline pushes his absence to at least five additional games, after he already missed 15 straight.

The team listed patellofemoral pain syndrome, commonly known as “runner’s knee,” typically involving swelling and pain around the kneecap. Curry has recently progressed to on-court work and will ramp it up, but he has described the injury as “unpredictable” following earlier setbacks.

Golden State is 32-33 and has dropped to the No. 9 seed in the West amid a three-game skid, trending toward the play-in bracket. Curry will miss Friday vs Minnesota and next week’s road games at New York, Washington, Boston and Detroit.
