Giannis Antetokounmpo to Remain with Bucks Through End of Season

Earlier today, the Bucks also completed a minor trade, acquiring Ousmane Dieng and Nigel Hayes-Davis in exchange for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey.

It is now official: Giannis Antetokounmpo will remain with the Milwaukee Bucks at least until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The front office has decided to postpone any major discussions until the summer, hoping to receive more substantial offers for the two-time MVP.

Antetokounmpo reacted to the news by sharing a well-known Leonardo DiCaprio clip from The Wolf of Wall Street, adding the caption:
“Legends don’t chase. They attract.”

Milwaukee’s plans for Hayes-Davis are still unclear. Should he be waived, he would instantly become one of the most sought-after names on the EuroLeague market over the final 20 days of the transfer window.

It is worth noting, however, that the forward has strong ties to Wisconsin, having enjoyed a successful four-year run with the Badgers.
