Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a powerful message about his future after the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated by Philadelphia. The Greek star refused to guarantee he will remain in Milwaukee, saying: “I don’t know. It’s not up to me. We’ll see” when asked whether he had played his final game for the franchise.
During his media session, Antetokounmpo made clear how frustrated he is with the current state of the Bucks, calling the team “very bad” and saying it is “the furthest away” from contention it has been in years. He also criticized the lack of communication inside the organization and the handling of his possible return to the floor: “I’m very big on communication… it has to go both ways”.
Even with the tension, Giannis did not completely close the door on a possible extension. “If that is on the table, then I will try to make the best decision for me and my family,” he said, keeping every scenario open ahead of the fall.
