Giannis Antetokounmpo became the latest NBA star to make a donation to aid arena staff that will be unable to work while the NBA season is indefinitely suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
The Milwaukee Bucks star tweeted that he will pledge $100,000 to Fiserv Forum staff: “It’s bigger than basketball!” Antetokounmpo tweeted on Friday afternoon. “During this tough time, I want to help the people that make my life, my family’s lives and my teammates lives easier.”
