Dimitris Giannakopoulos has once again teased the idea of Nikola Jokic joining Panathinaikos. The club owner used a viral AI-generated social media trend to joke about the budget needed to bring the Serbian superstar to Athens.

Giannakopoulos shared a Playmobil-style version of himself sitting at a desk and wondering how much money it would take to convince Jokic to wear a Panathinaikos jersey.

It is not the first time the Greek owner has publicly expressed his admiration for the Denver Nuggets center. Giannakopoulos considers Jokic one of the greatest players ever and has previously spoken about his dream of seeing him at Panathinaikos.

At the same time, Giannakopoulos has acknowledged that the main obstacle would not be funding, but the NBA structure itself, making a move to Europe for a superstar still in his prime an almost impossible scenario for now.
