Gianmarco Pozzecco after Galatasaray loss: “I’ve played at every f***ing level of basketball”

Gianmarco Pozzecco delivered a strong message after Galatasaray’s 96-76 road loss to Cibona in the Basketball Champions League. The Italian coach pointed to his playing experience while explaining his team’s performance.

“I don’t know if I’m a good coach or not. I know basketball well enough to understand why we played like this,” Pozzecco said after the heavy defeat in Zagreb.

“Not because I’m a genius, but because I’ve played at every f***ing level of basketball. I played from the fifth division in Italy to the Olympic finals, the EuroLeague Finals. I’ve seen everything in my life.” Galatasaray fell 96-76 to Cibona in Basketball Champions League Group B action.
