Galatasaray S.K. (men’s basketball) has officially signed American guard Boogie Ellis, adding the player to the yellow-red roster until the end of the season. Known for his scoring ability, perimeter shooting and playmaking skills, Ellis is expected to provide an offensive boost to the team.
Standing at 1.90 meters, Ellis combines scoring talent with the ability to control the pace of the game and contribute as a versatile playmaker. With experience in both NBA organizations and European basketball, the American guard brings valuable international background to Galatasaray.

Who is Boogie Ellis?
Born on December 12, 2000, in San Diego, California, Ellis is a 1.90-meter guard who began his basketball journey at Mission Bay High School, where he quickly emerged as one of the most promising young players in the country.
NCAA career – A scoring guard profile
Ellis started his college basketball career at the Memphis Tigers men’s basketball before transferring to the USC Trojans men’s basketball.
During his years at USC, he became one of the team’s main scoring options. In the 2022–23 season he averaged 17.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, earning a place in the All-Pac-12 First Team and establishing himself as one of the conference’s standout guards.
In his final collegiate season, Ellis continued to post double-digit scoring averages, finishing his NCAA career as one of the Pac-12’s most notable guards thanks to his outside shooting and leadership.
NBA and G League experience
After college, Ellis attracted the attention of NBA organizations and participated in the Summer League with the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns.
He later played in the NBA G League with the Stockton Kings and the Indiana Mad Ants, where he showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills.
European career
Ellis began his European career in the 2025–26 season with ALBA Berlin, appearing in both the domestic league and the Basketball Champions League.
Following strong performances, he moved in October to BC Dubai, competing in both the EuroLeague and the ABA League. With Dubai, Ellis averaged 10.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.6 steals per game in EuroLeague action, contributing with his scoring, perimeter shooting and high-energy style of play.
