Trae Young was ejected from Atlanta’s play-in game against Orlando after earning two technical fouls in the fourth quarter.
The first came when he fired a pass at referee James Williams, the second for kicking the ball and refusing to give it to ref Pat Fraher.
“It wasn’t just about me, it was about my teammates like Dyson Daniels not getting calls,” Young explained postgame. The Hawks were already down 22 points and lost 120-95. They’ll now host the winner of Bulls vs. Heat to decide the East’s final playoff spot. “I won’t let the refs get to me next time,” Young said.
