Olympiacos seals the signing of French guard Frank Ntilikina after days of negotiations with Partizan. A reduced buy-out proved decisive.
After a week of twists and turns, Olympiacos has finalized an agreement with Partizan Belgrade to sign Frank Ntilikina. As reported by Sport24, the Greek powerhouse reached a definitive deal, adding the French guard to support Thomas Walkup and later Keenan Evans in the point guard rotation.
The deal stalled when Partizan initially demanded a €500,000 buy-out, later reduced to €300,000. Olympiacos briefly pulled out of talks before returning to close at an even lower figure. Ntilikina, 27 years old and 1.93 m tall, averaged 7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2 assists in 19’54” over 21 EuroLeague games last season, shooting 57.1% on two-pointers, 37.7% from three and 92.3% from the line.
