Evan Fournier for Olympiacos, Cedi Osman for Panathinaikos: the two also had a game winner against each other in the NBA.

The Athens derby also provided a spectacle for the market: Olympiacos brought back Sasha Vezenkov and Evan Fournier to Europe, while Panathinaikos responded with Lorenzo Brown and Cedi Osman, not to mention Kendrick Nunn, who arrived last season. Evan Fournier and Cedi Osman were also featured game-winners in the NBA, when the Frenchman wore the jersey of the Orlando Magic and the Turk of the Cleveland Cavaliers. That was on November 6, 2018, and it is a duel that will be repeated in the 2024-2025 EuroLeague season: with what result? The court will tell.
