In the new economic landscape of college basketball, anything is possible — including a big man selected in the NBA Draft just two years ago deciding to continue his career at Baylor.
We’re talking about James Nnaji, the No. 31 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, who according to Jonathan Givony has already received clearance to suit up for the Bears this season.
The 21-year-old, developed in Barcelona’s system, was without a team after appearing in the Summer League with the New York Knicks.
Last season, Nnaji played for Girona in Spain and Merkezefendi in Turkey.
