The Serbian big man agrees to a three-year deal in Dubai. No NBA return or Red Star comeback

Filip Petrusev has chosen to continue his career in Dubai, agreeing to a three-year contract and personally covering a €500,000 buyout to leave Olympiacos, according to Mozzart Sport. The payment will be made over two years.

Despite interest from Crvena Zvezda, who reportedly offered €1 million in compensation, and brief NBA speculation, Petrusev opted for the ambitious ABA League project in Dubai.

After averaging 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in EuroLeague play with Red Star, Petrusev moves on following a difficult relationship with coach Bartzokas in Piraeus.
