A stunning performance by Fenerbahçe. Sarunas Jasikevicius’s team clinched Game 1 of the semifinals against Efes after a tremendous comeback in the fourth quarter. The final quarter ended 24-8, with Horton-Tucker’s basket and foul with 5 seconds left proving decisive in taking the lead. The final score was 60-59.
A missed opportunity for Efes, which started with a 21-6 run in the first quarter. PJ Dozier scored 17 points with 5 rebounds, Vincent Poirier had 10 points and 6 rebounds, and Shane Larkin added 10 points and 7 assists.
For Fenerbahce, Nicolò Melli and Tarik Biberovic each scored 16 points, while Horton-Tucker added 14.
