According to BasketNews, Talen Horton-Tucker is close to signing with Fenerbahçe Istanbul, the reigning EuroLeague champions. The 24-year-old former NBA player is in advanced negotiations for his first experience of playing in Europe.
After playing in 305 NBA games for the Lakers, Jazz and Bulls, the 193 cm guard, who was born in 2000 and attended Iowa State University, averaged 9.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists. In his final season in Chicago, he averaged 6.5 points, showing an upward trend.
There is still a small window of opportunity for him in the NBA, but if that does not materialise, Horton-Tucker will begin his European career at one of the most prestigious venues in continental basketball.
