Fenerbahce ready to raise Sarunas Jasikevicius’ salary as club awaits his answer

Turkish media report that Šarūnas Jasikevičius has a fresh contract offer on the table from Fenerbahce. The reigning EuroLeague champions have proposed a new deal with a salary increase for the Lithuanian coach.

According to prominent journalist Sercan Hamzaoğlu, Fenerbahce is prepared to boost Jasikevicius’ pay.
The coach is expected to give his answer “in a few days”, with the club waiting for his decision.

New club president Sadettin Saran had already hinted in mid-October at plans to extend Jasikevicius right after beating Ali Koç in the elections.

About a month later, board member Cem Ciritci also spoke publicly about the intention to renew the contract with the Lithuanian.
