Turkish side indicated they voted against the decision regarding Euroleague standings

In a official statement, Fenerbahce has announced they have voted against potentially canceling games played against Russian sides during the 2021/22 Regular Season, underlining the disappointment for the decision: “Some of the teams voted with their own interest in mind, while some others voted in a manner that we have not been capable of comprehending the reasoning behind”, it reads in the statement

Fenerbahce also added the team’s disappointment in the fellow Turkish club Anadolu Efes voting in favor of the decision, siding with the majority
