Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce Istanbul ended its 4-game losing streak with a crucial road win over Zenit St. Petersburg, who continues to struggle on the home floor (1-3 record compared to a 5-0 away).
After leading by as many as 17 points in the first half, Fenerbahce suffered a furious comeback by Zenit in the 3rd: the host turned the game around on a 18-0 run, but the visitors were able to hold on the game in the final minutes getting away with an important win. Vesely (17) and Barthel (15) led Fenerbahce in scoring, while Pangos had 16 points for Zenit.
