The coach will activate his exit clause, ending his second stint on the Barça Basket bench

FC Barcelona announced that Xavi Pascual has informed the club of his decision to activate, at the end of the season, the exit clause included in his contract through 2028.

This will bring an end to Pascual’s second spell as Barça Basket head coach, which began on November 17, 2025, when the team was going through a difficult sporting situation. The club thanked him for the work done during these months.

All parties remain focused on the shared goal of finishing the season by winning the Liga ACB title. Barcelona also announced that Pascual will hold a press conference tomorrow, Thursday, at 11:30.
