Shake Milton, a 28-year-old guard with seven NBA seasons under his belt, is in advanced talks to join Partizan Belgrade, sources tell BasketNews. After being waived by the Los Angeles Lakers on July 20 — the day his $3 million deal would have become guaranteed — Milton is now preparing for his first European stint.
Milton has appeared in 359 NBA games, averaging 8.1 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 rebounds, while shooting 45% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc. His best season came in 2019-20, when he scored a career-high 39 points for the Philadelphia 76ers and tied an NBA record with 13 consecutive made three-pointers.
