Andreas Obst was named EuroLeague Round 20 MVP after an outstanding showing in FC Bayern Munich’s 96-89 home win over Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz. The German shooter exploded for a career-high 37 points and a 38 PIR, the best mark of the round and a new Bayern record.
Obst delivered elite efficiency, knocking down 6 of 7 two-pointers, 7 of 11 from beyond the arc and 4 of 5 free throws, while also contributing across the stat sheet. It marked his first MVP of the Round award and the first such honor for a Bayern player this season.
Behind him, Round 20 also featured strong individual performances from Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos Piraeus, Jean Montero of Valencia Basket, as well as Antonio Blakeney, Matteo Spagnolo and Armoni Brooks, underlining the depth of top-level displays across the league.
