Carlik Jones – Partizan
Tore apart Olimpia Milano’s poor defense. A double-double of 20 points and 10 assists makes him the MVP of Round 1.
Dwayne Bacon – Dubai Basketball
He has found his place in the Middle East, and not just today. Great win over Real Madrid, with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Jae Crowder – ASVEL
Not a bad first taste of EuroLeague basketball: 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Sasha Vezenkov – Olympiacos
A superstar’s return in the easy win in Vitoria. He finished with 22 points and 5 rebounds for a 30 PIR.
Mathias Lessort – Panathinaikos
The French dominator is back: 15 points and 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. Not a bad way to get back into rhythm.
Coach Anton Gavel – Bayern Munich
What a start: a statement win in Sofia against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Bayern’s new era is looking promising.
