EuroLeague Playoffs 2024, what a balance: never before since the introduction of the 5-game series

EuroLeague, how much balance in the first round of the 2024 playoffs. We witnessed an exciting first round of the postseason, where 3 out of 4 series went to the decisive Game 5 and most of the games were decided by details. The games in this year’s various series ended with an average spread of 7.9 points, the lowest average spread since the introduction of the 5-game series. The only edition that came close to this balance was the 2017 edition, as shown in the table below.
