All Euroleague players that attended the conference call with Euroleague yesterday are unanimously against the resuming of the season suspended due to Coronavirus. A source told Sportando that Euroleague has been surprised by the players’ unanimous stance.
Tomorrow morning vote will see the 11 A-licensed teams decide whether to resume both Euroleague and Eurocup season. Sportando has been told that Efes and Maccabi, Real and Barcelona are in favour of a resumption; while Milano, CSKA, Fenerbahce and both Greek sides Panathinaikos and Olympiacos are against. A majority of six votes is needed by Euroleague to go ahead with the restart of both Euroleague and Eurocup seasons.
