SDNA and BasketNews report that uncertainty around ASVEL and Monaco could create room

PAOK Thessaloniki are reportedly considering a potential EuroLeague entry for the 2026-27 season via a wildcard, according to SDNA, with BasketNews also covering the development.

Per the reports, the situation is linked to possible openings tied to LDLC ASVEL’s future and AS Monaco’s financial-related issues, though PAOK’s participation is described as a possibility rather than a done deal.

On the coaching side, PAOK have officially announced an agreement with Andrea Trinchieri, who will take over starting 2026-27 for the next three years. This season, PAOK are in the FIBA Europe Cup quarterfinals (vs Peristeri) and sit fourth in the Greek League standings.
