Euroleague Basketball has sanctioned Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade following the Round 14 EuroLeague game against FC Barcelona.
The Serbian club has received a €8,000 fine for offensive chants directed at Kevin Punter, the referees and everyone associated with Barcelona.
The ruling comes under Article 29.2.f of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
In addition to the monetary fine, Zvezda have been handed a game to be played at 80% arena capacity, with specific sectors to be closed.
However, this capacity limitation is conditionally suspended for the entire 2025-26 season, in line with Article 8 of the Disciplinary Code.
The sanction will be enforced only if the club commits a new infringement of Article 29.1.f.
