Club owners could discuss a proposal regarding NBA Europe at their next meeting

EuroLeague expects to receive an offer from the NBA regarding its planned European competition, according to Front Office Sports. If submitted, the proposal is expected to be discussed by club owners at their October 5 meeting.

EuroLeague reportedly remains open to cooperation, provided any agreement benefits both sides. Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that the NBA could propose acquiring a controlling stake in EuroLeague.

An NBA spokesperson told Marc Stein that NBA Europe continues to target an October 2027 launch. The proposed competition would feature 16 teams—12 permanent franchises and four annual qualifiers—with Milan and Rome among the target markets.
