According to Eurohoops, LDLC ASVEL faces potential expulsion from the EuroLeague after failing to meet the minimum salary threshold of €5.85 million under the league’s new Financial Fair Play rules. Official data from the French LNB shows ASVEL’s payroll at €4.55 million.

The issue was discussed at the recent EuroLeague board meeting, with possible sanctions or non-renewal of the club’s A-License on the table. Combined with reports from Le Progrès about a possible switch to the Basketball Champions League, ASVEL’s EuroLeague exit seems imminent.
