Vasilije Micic has reached a decision on his future, agreeing to a three-year deal with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv. After drawing serious interest from Real Madrid, Fenerbahce, and Olympiacos, the Serbian star accepted the Israeli team’s massive offer.
The two-time EuroLeague champion returns to Europe after two years in the NBA, where he appeared in 101 games with Charlotte, OKC, and Phoenix, before a buyout deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. Micic was named EuroLeague MVP in 2021 and Final Four MVP in both championship years with Anadolu Efes.
Under coach Dimitris Itoudis, Hapoel is building a competitive roster. Micic joins a team with several new additions, including Bryant, Ennis, Oturu, and Odiase, while home EuroLeague games will continue to be held outside of Israel in 2025–26.
Guys I’m having dinner with my daughter, I still didn’t send our offer and I will talk to Vasa later on. I hope we can make it happen it will make a lot of people happy
