Rihards Lomazs was named BKT EuroCup Round 13 MVP after posting a career-high 33 points and a round-best 36 PIR in Neptunas Klaipeda’s 98-94 win over Veolia Towers Hamburg. The Latvian guard shot 6/9 on twos, 3/6 from three and went 12/12 at the line, adding 6 assists and drawing 6 fouls.
Hamburg’s Ross Williams delivered a career-best 34 PIR with 32 points and a perfect 8/8 inside the arc, but it came in defeat. Lomazs becomes the second Neptunas player to take MVP of the Round this season, following James Karnik’s tri-MVP honor in Round 6.
Among other standout performances, Austin Wiley (Jerusalem) posted 31 PIR, while Umoja Gibson (Cedevita Olimpija) reached 30 PIR. Bryce Jones and Joe Thomasson both finished on 29 PIR, as the round leaders also included top marks in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks across multiple players.
