The BKT EuroCup will change format starting from the 2026-27 season.
The Euroleague Commercial Assets Board approved the expansion of the competition to 32 teams, divided into four groups of eight. Sixteen clubs will advance to the postseason.
The new format will include eighthfinals, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, all played as best-of-three series.
The final list of participating teams will include access through domestic league rankings, around 20 clubs receiving five-year licenses and the remaining spots filled through one-year wild cards. Participating teams and long-term licenses will be announced in the coming days.
