Ettore Messina on Milano loss to Efes: “A pathetic performance”

Olimpia Milano coach Ettore Messina had his say after his team tough loss to Anadolu Efes in Istanbul for Euroleague Round 31: “Congrats to Efes and Ataman for a great performance and an important win. They slapped us in the face in the opening minutes and we had a pathetic performance. Without any desire and competitivity, and that’s the saddest part of tonight’s game. We had put ourselves in the Playoff picture with 8 wins in 9 games, I think we should have respected ourselves more tonight with a better performance”.
